   While this is all well and good and keeps up the site’s unofficial mission to remind me what terrible, terrible taste I had in pop culture as a youngster (1982: favorite show, Solid Gold. Favorite song: “You Can Do Magic.” Crush: the Pointer Sister on the left), it lacks snark, manly but senstitive singers with mustaches (not counting Alex Karras), and obscure chart trivia. Stop living your fulfilling life and entertain me for 10 minutes while I’m bored, dammit.

   Brian, quite simply, that’s the comment I’ve been waiting for since I started this little hiatus. Thank you for posting it. Webster can give you four out of those ten minutes. I’ll do my best to come back as soon as possible.

   This looks like some kind of clip from an awful “Christmas Morning In Disneyland” special, including the blandtastic vocals of the Disney Denizens of the Music Department. And do note Emmanuel Lewis sporting his shiny, MJ-esque knockoff outfit… It’s like some magical gift to Michael on Christmas Day. Tiny people wearing his clothes and dancing with enormous wooden toys. DwD

   I wonder if Emmanuel Lewis knew then that he would only grow about three inches more and was pissed that he had to dance to “It’s A Small World.”

   I hate to think how he repaid Jacko for teaching him the dance moves. A weekend sleepover, perhaps?

   wait- #3 midget orphan? I’m assuming Gary Coleman was #1, but who was #2?? I don’t think it was Vicki from Small Wonder…or Annie from, well, from Annie. Besides, Annie was a musical.

   My mom got to attend Disney World’s 15th-anniversary celebration in 1986 as a member of the press. She had recently started Macon Magazine (in Macon, Ga.) with her partner, and it wasn’t going to print anything about Disney World in its pages, but so what? Disney had — and still has — money to burn, so I bet employees from even smaller publications got to go to Disney World in ’86.

   “Captain EO” debuted at Disney World at that time. Michael Jackson, George Lucas, and Francis Coppola all working together to create the most expensive movie of all time on a per-minute basis, according to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_EO.
